Best Diversity Books For Your Baby’s First Year

It’s never too soon to start talking about Diversity. Books are an easy, accessible way to start that conversation. Some books are very intentionally about diversity. Others are more subtle. This is my list, always growing, of the Best Diversity Books for Children Under 1. These inclusive baby books are not the end and beginning of your social responsibility, but a stepping stone.

Join your Activist on this alphabetical introduction to justice. Great vocabulary and an important topic.
A is for Awesome, iconic women in our world and the many accomplishments they have made.

Consent is an incredibly important topic, and one that we probably don’t cover often enough. C is for Consent helps you talk about (and can serve as a reminder) the importance of bodily autonomy.

We don’t want to raise children who always say yes. No! is a word they should use and be proud of. It is their first form of protest.
Think Big and know that change can come from just one individual.
Girls will run the world and blaze the trails to change.
